Illegal Immigrant Gang Member Arrested After Murdering a Police Officer in California

This morning California authorities arrested the suspect who was wanted in connection with the murder of Newman, California Police Officer Ronil Singh. The arrest was made outside of Bakersfield.

The suspect, whose name has yet to be released, has been identified by authorities as an illegal immigrant man with connections to the Mexican-American street gang the Sureños or ‘south siders’.

Corporal Singh, aged 33, was shot fatally after conducting a traffic stop on the suspect for an alleged DUI. He is survived by his wife and 5-month-old son.

Singh had been working for the Newman Police Department (Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department) since 2011.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department has posted several images of the alleged cop killer on its Twitter account during the early morning hours of Friday morning. The photos show the illegal immigrant, cop killing gang member posing in a tank-top, wearing a metal chain neckless with a tattoo of a flaming skull on his right arm. Just below the skull tattoo is another tattoo with the word ‘$urn3no$’, which is Spanish for ‘southerners’.

Authorities have said the suspected cop killer has at least five different Facebook profiles with different aliases for each.  Four of the five pages say that he’s from the state of Colima, along the Pacific Coast of Mexico. One of the suspect’s profiles contains a number of images of firearms and other weapons, as well as several photos of him holding a pistol.

The Sureños are a Mexican-American street gang who have their origins in southern California. The gang whose allegiance lies with the California prison gang, the Mexican Mafia or ‘La Eme’,  been wreaking havoc on the citizens of California for a long time now.

According to the Los Angeles Times, in April of this year, ten of the gang’s members were charged for their suspected roles in seven different murders in the San Francisco Bay Area

It’s hardly surprising that the gang has also been implicated in recent criminality along the U.S.-Mexico border. In July, Border Patrol agents arrested one of its members outside of Tucson, Arizona on human trafficking charges when five illegal immigrants were discovered inside of his truck. According to immigration officials, just months earlier another member who had already been deported from the U.S. once was arrested along with two other illegal immigrants in the southern region of Arizona.

It’s precisely this kind of senseless violence against people serving our country and against innocent civilians which makes voters want a wall. The hard-working, honest people of the U.S. have had enough. The solution is simple: illegal immigrants, especially the criminal ones, must be sent home and must be stopped from re-entering the country.

A border wall will help to achieve this.
