hUnless you are a member of the Huli Tribe of Papua New Guinea or have been living far from civilization without the internet or tv, odds are that you’ve heard whispers going around about the United States falling apart. These claims are neither spurious nor invalid. In fact, they’re precisely the opposite – being quite on the mark and truthful. American leftists would have you believe that this negative phenomenon is something of a recent trend, and entirely attributed to the 2016 election of Donald J. Trump. However, anyone with half a brain who’s been following events in our country is aware that nothing could be further from the truth.
The United States has been on a self-inflicted downward spiral for many years. When thinking back to the time period when the disintegration of our society truly began to accelerate, we mustn’t look any further then the cataclysmic and infamous date of September 11th, 2001. Soon after, via the harnessing of the hysterical rage bursting from the collective unconscious of the nation, the neo-con minded Bush administration used its political might and well-honed tactics in deception to thrust the United States into the disastrous Iraq War – a 2.4 trillion dollar war that would later be seen as the most destructive, wasteful and immoral war of our time. That war, although having morphed into something more malignant than ever with an increased number of state actors involved, still rages on as I sit at my desk typing up this piece.
Then came the global financial crisis of 2008 – a financial catastrophe so transformative and damaging to the masses that it has been compared to the Great Depression of the 1930s by scholars more times than one could possibly count. Regardless of your take, the global financial crisis of 2008 has been correctly characterized as the largest transfer of wealth from lower, working and middle classes to the ultra-rich class in history.
Despite the figures purported by the fully purchased press, the United States and the world as a whole still haven’t recovered from this terrible crisis—not in the slightest. Unemployment figures and other measures of economic vitality proclaimed by the lying press on their propaganda outlets are all about as accurate and worthy of trust as the polling numbers reported during the days leading up to the night of the 2016 US Presidential Election. The New York Times had an adorable little real time election polling gauge, which at the beginning of the ballot counting on the evening of November 8th, showed Hillary Clinton having a 99% chance of winning the election. Well, we all know how that turned out. As anyone who is slightly informed knows, this is merely one of the innumerable examples of the fake polls the MSM reported to citizens. And yet still, hordes of either the most utterly naïve or dishonest people on the planet still desperately cling to their faith that the corporate sponsored media is an upright, reliable, ethical and honest institution with integrity, entirely worthy of their trust.
Donald Trump has been the President of the United States for well over a year. Despite accomplishing some positive things for all the people of this country, the forces of deception continue to belligerently espouse the patently false narratives that Trump is a sexist, xenophobic, islamophobic, anti-semitic, Neo-Nazi sympathizing racist. These deceitful, virulent and libelous narratives have helped to create divisions and sow mistrust and animosity between racial groups in the country in a way that makes it hard to envision any possibility of repairing them at this point. Numerous researchers and academics in the country contend that in modern times, race relations haven’t ever been worse than they are today. Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there. Additionally, these liars in high places have purposefully helped to manufacture an atmosphere of fear, anxiety, uncertainty, distrust, chaos and terror in the psyche of the beaten down American public.
